Job Description
ADAPT and APPLY the strategic product plan according to the specific needs of the assigned territory: purchase, setting rates, distribution, sales monitoring and global and local commercial actions of the company’s collection.
Preparation of the Collection (before the start of development of the Design teams)
- Delivery of quantitative and qualitative reports of the previous collection: detailed analysis of the best and worst selling garments by market, attending to success parameters at full price, average discount and gross margin.
- Analysis of competitors: selection of existing competitors in the market, positioning of prices by families/qualities of the competition, local promotional actions and evaluation of our local rates
- Analysis of specific product needs to be covered not present in general collection.
- Analysis of red alerts in the market: non-commercial colors, qualities and compromised garments, etc.
Development of the collection (during the development of the Design teams)
- Development and updating of purchase modules adapted to the season (depths and sizes) for review with the global planner and the head of Merch
- Update of existing store clusters by market with the global planner (openings, closings, collection changes, etc.)
- Follow-up and feedback of special collection requests with the product managers of each line
Buying (after the edition of the collection)
- Review of the purchase and Pre-Deliveries by point of sale of the collection assigned by market, according to previous sales criteria, collection bets and sales objectives
- Optimization of the collection by distribution at the size level
- Bets and blockages of families / garments by local specifications (fit, price, weather, etc.)
- Review of the PVP prices of the assigned territory (full & sales)
Distribution
- Distribution tracking - Orense to market
- Ensure the distribution of the initial order by point of sale according to the established initial plan
- Monitoring of the actual implementation of the collection in the POS (exhibition) according to established schedule.
Tracking of the collection
- Monitoring of the evolution of sales by point of sale and report of actions to be implemented for improvement / correction
Visual merchandising, product rotations, PVP modifications, promotion management, etc.)
- Activation of stock movements (between stores and from local/central warehouse).
- Adjustment of promotional rates with criteria established by Merch Management
- Management of the specific surplus by market (recycling, outlets, promotions, etc.)
- Local adaptation of business tools (translations)
*Senior technicians who manage teams must take care of staff workflows, prioritizing tasks and times.
Training
• Obligatory: Higher studies
• Languages: Excellent level of English (spoken and written)
• Desirable: Training in Business Management, Foreign Trade, Marketing and
interest in the retail/textile world
Technical knowledge
• Mandatory: Microsoft Office (Access, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint, Word),; SAP;
AS400; MicroStrategy.
• Leadership & Team management.
• Proactive
• Preferable: additional languages
Experience
At least 1 year in a similar role and/or at least 5 years as a senior technician.
